Redefining Accessibility

Empowering the Physically-Disabled to Explore the World Like Never Before

In today's world, the physically-disabled are severely underrepresented in so many aspects of life. As space travel and high-intensity industrial jobs increase in the future, we firmly believe that the physically-disabled must not be left behind. To ensure they can safely navigate these environments, we designed the Aeramen Limb. The Aeramen Limb is the world's first prosthetic arm created for use in extreme environments. With our simple yet effective design that leverages existing technologies, the Aeramen Limb will open the doors of accessibility to one and all.

Our Story

The Aeramen team consists of passionate students motivated to expand high-risk, extreme environment accessibility to all. Our first step is to enable physically-disabled individuals, particularly those with upper-limb amputation, to enter environments like space, at which they are currently unable or unsupported to enter. As a team, we share a deep passion for engineering, aerospace, and accessibility, and we look forward to a future where our product, the Aeramen Limb, allows the physically-disabled to proudly join the community.

"To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home."

-- Jerry Crawford (Air Force)

The Aeramen Limb

To address the long-standing issues of exclusivity in extreme environments, we decided to develop the Aeramen Limb, an upper-limb prostheses, with guidance from our expert mentors. The Aeramen Limb is a modular, durable, adaptable prosthetic arm that can withstand all sorts of environments, customized to its user. It holds potential to transform the world as we know it. Not only would industries become more equitable, but enabling even just 1% of upper-limb amputees globally to enter high-demand fields could result in tens of thousands of new workers, boosting productivity in critical industries.
